A LOOK AT WISDOM

A LOOK AT WISDOM: THE ORDINARY AND EXTRAORDINARY expands upon the themes in The River of Grace. Wisdom is an energy, and it is an aspect of subtle energy.

A LOOK AT WISDOM is a story of how wisdom grows in the life of a person. The Bible likens wisdom to a “tree of life” that grows and bears branches, leaves, and fruit. The leaves and fruit can be bright and beautiful, or they can be dark and dismal.

This book continues the discussion of certain themes presented in my foundational book THE RIVER OF GRACE: THE FLOW OF SUBTLE ENERGY FROM GOD TO US AND BACK. Subtle energy, THE RIVER OF GRACE revealed, consists of many different aspects or qualities. This book considers the aspect of wisdom. Wisdom is an energy, and, more specifically, it is an aspect of subtle energy.

Energy causes effects. The effects here are certain actions and attributes. In the case of wisdom, “wisdom” is the energy and also the name of the attribute the energy produces. Subtle energy produces the attribute of wisdom.

A LOOK AT WISDOM presents the Bible's description of ordinary wisdom, extraordinary wisdom, and extra-extraordinary wisdom as demonstrated by people, animals, and other parts of nature. This framework of ordinary, extraordinary, and extra-extraordinary can apply to any action or attribute generated by an aspect of subtle energy. This book focuses on the aspect and attribute of wisdom, but other applications could include the actions of prophecy, blessing (or cursing), and healing. Prophecy, blessing (or cursing), and healing are examples of actions generated by an aspect of subtle energy.

Our behavioral choices affect the quality of our ordinary wisdom. Through our own choices, our ordinary wisdom can be bright and beautiful, or it can be dark and dismal. Ordinary wisdom becomes extraordinary when it is strengthened and enhanced by the input of an angel or God's Holy Spirit. When bright and beautiful ordinary wisdom is made extraordinary from the enhancement of a good angel or the Holy Spirit, it becomes extraordinarily bright and beautiful. But if dark and dismal ordinary wisdom is made extraordinary from the enhancement of a bad angel, it becomes extraordinarily dark and devilish.

We will see that extra-extraordinary wisdom is ordinary wisdom made extraordinary through the enhancement of the Holy Spirit and then made additionally strong through an extra input. The Bible calls this the “gift” of wisdom. Ordinary wisdom is always present in extraordinary and extra-extraordinary wisdom. Ordinary wisdom is the foundation. All else rests upon it.
